The point I wanted to drive home was that:

There is a “price” for everything and sometimes that price is way higher than the ultimate reward that price will yield. That’s when thing get messy.

Please correct me if my interpretation is wrong, but I see 2 distinct situations.
1) from Mark’s standpoint – don’t try too hard to match some requirement as the cliched change-is-the-only-constant
2) from Sheila’s standpoint – don’t wait too long until making everything perfect
May be I am reading too much, both perspectives are same / similar.
