When I think about what you've said, the concept of leverage reveals itself to become more and more important. If you're in a business where you trade your time for money (consulting, computer repair, a job), once you're selling every hour you have, then you've got to charge more money. At a certain point, you reach a limit in what you can make. Therefore, leverage is the only way you're going to earn more, right? Isn't this what the most successful MLM/Direct Selling business people do? Otherwise, no one would make the top dollars. And, a smart Chamber of Commerce uses leverage, too! They ask their loyal members to refer more people. Many Chambers formalize this and have Ambassador Committees. In my Chamber, the Ambassadors' main purpose is to help recruit new members. Jim Ware, the CEO who hired me six years ago, emphasized that I would not be able to bring in enough members on my own. That I would HAVE to leverage my resources to be successful.
