If I would have retaliated, eventually my girl's safety would have been put to jeopardy, which was the last thing I ever wanted. I wanted her to be safe, that was my priority over my fighting, so I let go of him, I endure, and that's the least I could do for her. She was safe in my arms, and there was nothing more I could have asked for. That's what real men do. They dont lose their head in anger, but they think logically and are capable of drinking in their anger for something that's more important for them.
