Can you imagine the number of people trying to beat that record and growing ear hairs? Apply this to any of the "meaningless" records and may be you will agree with me that there is so much of "wasted" talent trying to chase some of these things. My $.02 of course. It was fun and exciting to watch. We used to memorize some of those records for quiz contests in schools.
