A lot of useful information, thank you. However, it’s important to note that good business practices, like building the confidence of customers through truthful advertising, providing products and services at a fair price, and developing long-term business relationships, are applicable to any businesses,too.

All these are true. But I think the main quality of first-time entrepreneur has been forgotten. And I’m talking about ambition witch is much more intense during the first ventures.

Thanks for the great insight contained in this post. I particularly like the emphasis on the human element including social contacts and a strong support group. Most importantly, though, many writers fail to recognize the connection between personal tenacity and a successful start-up business. I don’t want it all tomorrow – I want it all today – and tell me why I cant have it.
