Yet on the other hand we have instability of all sorts around the world. Everywhere on this beautiful planet it is raining change, chaos and development, all in the same instance. The wake up call that I see is more in the area of us needing to wake up to the fact that there is more to life than our 401K plans. What is your purpose? Are you living your dream? Are you being true to yourself? I believe that it is only when we nail our own truth, and find what really turns us on! will we be able to roll with the punches and deal with these changes in an appropriate manner for us. I leave you with a question - When someone says hello to you and asks you who you are, how do you resond? I have seen many organizations even in the valley which are bloated: there is unequal distribution of work. One good example is HP and to some extent SUN.
